The Foundation has undergone a reorganization and is again an independent 501(c)(3) organization. It also has redefined its mission. Specifically, the organization's Mission Statement reads: The Allen J Lynch Medal of Honor Veterans Foundation provides assistance to veterans and service members through its financial support of Veterans service organizations. All funds contributed to the Lynch Foundation are provided through grants to programs that directly support Military Veterans in need.

• Utility Worker Military Assistance Program (UMAP) – UMAP provides returning veterans, reserve and guard candidates with the training and support needed to successfully transition into job opportunities in the utility industry.
• All Woman's Honor Flight – the first of its kind under the auspices of the national Honor Flight For the first time they are adding an all-female flight to honor the women who served our country.
• The Veteran Women's Wellness Day – the Foundation contributed to the Veterans Forward Program. This is a program within National Able and has been a partner to the Lynch Foundation for the last several years. Our contribution helped obtain goods and services needed by the women on that particular day of the event.  
• The Foundation is currently working with Lake County Responds for Veterans – This Organization assists Veterans in need by raising donations of money, building materials, and professional labor of which we coordinate the repairs, building, and donating of homes to Veterans.

Become part of our Heroes for Veterans Sponsorship Program. In return, we will promote your organization – company name, logo and a short description of your organization’s focus – through a display on our website, and also by including you in a special edition of the Veterans Assistance Commission Newsletter which is mailed to over 4,000 names.
